rhinestone cowboy
So apparently I have a big thing for embellished shoulders right now.
Browsing through Shopbop this morning, my cursor hovered over this little beauty from Robert Rodriguez: an awesome beaded shoulder jean jacket!
Not sure I love the tuxedo tails -- this would have been stronger as a straight bomber -- but overall I love the look and the emphasis on the shoulders. The mix of light denim and black rhinestones is super hot, though for the price (almost $700 for a jean jacket!) this is something try at home! Let's have a closer look:

Actually I love the little tail at the back it is the Rhinestone shoulders that concern me more. Particularly when I see a long haired model. I just picture the hair getting tangled and torn out on the rhinestones making a very sloppy look in general not to mention causing some discomfort in the day if you ever move around a lot.
ReplyDeleteI think this look is great for short haired women, or those who have afros even, but for gals with long hair I would not wear jackets with Rhinestone shoulders. Also just wondering how do you wash them without the Rhinestones coming off? Is it all by hand?
